Meet Ekaterina Mitova, User Assistance Developer at SAP. Ekaterina has been working for the company for the last 11 years.
You might wonder why she has stayed for such a long time in the same spot and that is why we asked her. "The answer is simple: I haven’t. During these years, I’ve tried different positions and responsibilities and in the end I found the best place for me: the User Assistance team."
"The projects of the company are evolving at a very fast pace, new things are being tested and applied all the time. This empowers innovation opportunities even in my team. You don't necessarily need to be a developer to have interesting ideas and time to prototype and test them. Currently in my team we are creating and testing a chatbot dedicated to a documentation platform. It's a lot of work and a lot of fun at the same time", Ekaterina says.
She always manages to combine her daily tasks with all kinds of small projects that are interesting to her: from participating in innovation competitions to d-shop projects and working with different gadgets. The d-shop (short for “The Developer’s Workshop”) is a global program that aims to bring hardware technologies closer to all SAP employees.
Finding the balance between all of these projects is something easy to achieve for Ekaterina. "I always manage to combine my daily tasks. This is a great way to boost my skills and imagination. And to be a happier person altogether."
